My initial intention in developing this site was to showcase my photography and camera collection. It has since evolved into a site to archive our family life in images and videos (but the stuff about cameras is in there too).
My love of photography began in the late 1970s, which is when I joined the photography club in high school and learned how to shoot and process film. I now happily switch between film and digital.
At the heart of this website is a selection of photographs taken in each year gone by. My Year in Review albums begin with the year 2000. We welcomed our youngest daughter Genevieve into the world just prior to the new millennium, and I had just sold all my darkroom equipment to fund the purchase of my first digital camera – a one megapixel Kodak DC215 – yikes!
Thankfully, I found my way back into film photography and this site features a collection of my favourite images taken with each of my cameras. I also decided to include a blog to share some of my thoughts about photography and added sections in the Menu to showcase a few videos and images from family get-togethers and our travels abroad.
I hope you enjoy the site and if you want to make a comment, consider responding in the blog or directly in any of the posts.
